Hey y’all! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend! Tonight I’m going out on the town with my girls to Superior Bar + Grill in Shreveport. They have my favorite Patron margaritas + don’t get me started on how amazing the food is! This bipolar weather has had me tripped up all week. Today it was 77 today, but tonight it’s supposed to be 32 degrees and raining. Most people wouldn’t like that at all, but for me it is a great excuse to pull out the fur.
Tonight I am wearing my mixed rabbit fur coat designed by Kamal. My aunt gifted this to me this past Fall + I haven’t had the chance to wear it yet. This coat has beautiful shades of white, cream + light brown. Due to the shades in the coat, I chose to wear a brown, suede Ann Taylor skirt that matches the brown tones in the coat. I bought the skirt from Goodwill back in college, you can’t pass up a real suede skirt for $10! 🙂
I knew I wanted to break up the all neutral tones by wearing a dark purple bodysuit I snagged from T.J. Max. The bodysuit matches perfectly with my purple velvet choker from Forever21 + the Maison E. Goyard Senat GM Pouch in burgundy/purple. (I say that because in some lighting it looks purple + in others it is more burgundy.)
For my shoes I have a pair of my Momma’s cream over the knee Dingo Boots. These boots have a three inch heel which means I won’t be doing the “I’m in pain” walk half way through the night. For my jewelry I chose to wear my BCBG baroque statement ring, a Nadri signet ring + layering rings by Gorjana. Lastly, a purple velvet choker. For my makeup I chose to keep it natural + let the outfit do the talking. Just a cat eye + a little highlight will go a long way. For the lips I chose NYX Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lingerie in Beauty Mark.
